Dealing death to our enemies

Body count: 6. Of course, 5 of those were goblins. Yeah, I'm a gaming geek. In December I started playing in a Dungeons and Dragons game (3.5). Our first real session was today, in a town that was invaded by goblins. We're going to stick around for a while, there's evidence that a major goblin attack is in planning stages. I had a blast!

I'm about to start running a new campaign this week with 4 people completely new to gaming. I only mention it because one of them, if you can believe it, is Dad.

My new group is all women; it's been an interesting change. The tone of the banter is different, and we do a lot more in-character conversation than when I was gaming with the mixed group (mostly guys, all rules lawyers and completely munchkined out) before.

Well, Ann and Emily have joined us, you don't know them. Molly is also new and she is autistic but she seems to come out of her shell with us and the game has really got her excited. Of course, this is Alyssa's second game (she's gonna be a Bard, of course), and Jake munchkined his Tinker to all hell.

I'm playing a fighter (extra feats at every even level!) and I took weaponsmithing as a skill. The GM keeps giving me gold for selling my daggers; the first time my character said "I'm sitting here working on a dagger" she said she was shocked, nobody had ever taken a craft before in one of her games.
