Health news

I saw the orthopedist this morning. I'm bummed that I may not get full function of my shoulder back, and that it may take a year to get there (or wherever I'm going to get).

I also went to physical therapy and started some stretching exercises. Of course, that stirred the pain back up--my shoulder and arm ache right now. Two steps forward, one step back, I guess.

I'm sorry that you're looking down such a long road. I hope it encourages you when I mention that another friend of mine had very serious issues with her shoulder that sound similar to yours, especially the outlook. It took her a long, long time and she's not 100% but she's no longer in pain and can paint and drive and do all the things that she used to dread when her shoulder was at its worst. She believes acupuncture helped in addition to PT. She also took classes on posture and motion to help correct some body movement and posture issues that may have aggravated her condition.
